Tuition + Fees

Below are Calhoun Christian School's tuition and fees for the 2025-2026 school year. We offer our families the option to sign up for monthly payments. Fees are charged annually and help offset the costs of books, technology, supplies, and a yearbook (K-12 only), and are paid with enrollment. Enrollment fees are nonrefundable. We do our best to keep costs affordable for our families, but are dependent on tuition to pay our staff and cover operating costs.

*Calhoun Christian Preschool students who enter our Kindergarten will receive a $750 discount off Kindergarten tuition for 2025-2026

Multi-Student Discount

Calhoun Christian School offers a discount to families with more than one student enrolled, including in our preschool programs.

10% discount off 2nd student
20% discount off 3rd student
$1,350 flat rate tuition for any additional student

New Family Discount

For the 2025-2026 school year, we are offering 20% off tuition to any new student to Calhoun Christian School. The discount applies to the 2025-2026 school year only. 

Common Questions

Yes! During the enrollment process, you can select which payment plan works for your family. We offer payment plans up to 12 months long through FACTS Financial. FACTS does charge an annual fee to utilize monthly payments, but if you choose to pay in full or split into 2 payments (July and January), there is no fee.

After you are accepted and are completing the enrollment packet, please contact our Business Manager at 269-965-5560 to make arrangements for tuition payments to be made by someone else. 

Check out our online giving home page for opportunities to give to our school, to help our current families, and to donate to our scholarship funds. We also host a Fall Fund Drive and Spring Auction each year that you are welcome to participate in to help those who desire Christian education for their student but are struggling to make the financial commitment.

If you are unable to attend Calhoun Christian School for one reason or another and notify us before August 15, you will receive a refund on any tuition payment made. If after August 15, you will be reimbursed for any tuition payment made to date, minus 10% of that semester's tuition. If you withdraw after August 31, tuition is due for the semester in which you withdraw. Enrollment and application fees are nonrefundable.

Financial Assistance

We seek to provide affordable Christian education for the Battle Creek area. As long as a new student application is on file for the coming school year (or you are a current family), you are welcome to apply for aid through our third party vendor. This vendor conducts an impartial review of your financial situation so we are able to award aid impartially. 

Some Guidelines

Financial aid is need-based and intended for families who cannot afford Calhoun Christian School otherwise.

If you only have a preschool student, that preschooler must be enrolled full-time in order to be eligible for financial assistance. Families with a part-time preschooler AND a K-12 student are also eligible, along with any family with 1 or more K-12 student.

Expected tuition costs per student, with financial aid applied, would be somewhere in the tuition range listed below:  

Preschool: $5,220 - $6,525
Kindergarten: $3,000 - $5,700
Grades 1-4: $3,000 - $6,150
Grades 5-8: $3,000 - $6,900
Grades 9-12: $3,000 - $7,100

Financial aid applies only towards tuition - fees are not eligible for financial assistance.

Families are responsible for all educational costs if the application is not completed, or the award is not given, by the time the first scheduled payment arrives. 

Process to Apply for Financial Aid
  1. Apply for admission to Calhoun Christian School. This must be finalized before applying for financial aid.
  2. Contact our Enrollment Specialist to request the online Financial Aid application to be sent to you, anytime after February 1.
  3. Complete the financial aid application, paying the associated $45 FACTS application fee. It should take approximately 45 minutes to complete.
  4. Upload additional documentation, including tax documents, which vary depending on your financial situation but often include W2s and a Federal 1040 form. 
  5. After your financial aid application is complete and verified by FACTS, the financial aid committee will determine awards. Incomplete applications that have not been verified by FACTS as complete will not be reviewed. Applications may take 2-4 weeks for FACTS to process once all required documents have been submitted.
